First Class Solutions for West Shore Community College

Prior to partnering with Edustaff in 2017, West Shore Community College managed the payroll and human resources services internally.

With the partnership with Edustaff, WSCC has been able to ease some of the burdens of large employee loads by partnering with a staffing provider. Onboarding new hire documents, processing employee pay, and running background checks have been shifted from their internal team to Edustaff, to manage with ease. With Edustaff’s client portal, West Shore Community College has 24/7 access to check the status of employees or to review incomplete items.

Edustaff has also supplied WSCC with quality employees and superior services including, employee communications, compliance management and payroll.
According to WSCC’s Manager of Payroll Services, Cindy Lopez, “The implementation process was very smooth and successful from the start. The Edustaff team came in and gave a thorough overview of benefits, hiring process and payroll timeline. Most importantly a template was provided letting us know exactly what format and information would be needed to pay all employees under Edustaff once onboarded. We continue to use this template today and have modified it to be used for balancing total wages to be paid to the Edustaff’s billing invoice.”
